3.Perfusionist- this person helps the surgeon during open heart surgery. They are in charge of operating machines that work in the place of the heart and lungs of the patient as the surgeon is operating. 4. Respiratory Therapist- This person treats patients with chronic lung and breathing problems. They work alongside with physicians to help them diagnose problems. They also treat patients with different methods to help the individual. The yearly pay is anywhere from 45,075-58,00.
